‘A Night Over the Atlantic’ By Anton Novi
Southampton is riddled with history and culture; a legacy that still marks the city today. From city walls to Tudor houses, many attractions within the city bring tourists from across the country, captivating the public with tales and stories of history and legends. Perhaps one of the most notable tales though, is that of the Titanic.
The Titanic was a British ship intended for transatlantic travel and was, at the time of its creation, deemed unsinkable. Its fateful maiden voyage took place on the twelfth of April in 1912 and was scheduled to set off from Southampton and ultimately travel to New York City. It is widely known however, that this journey ended in tragedy as the ship collided with an iceberg and sank causing many lives to be lost.

‘A Night Over the Atlantic’ By Anton Novi is a geolocated mobile audio story that tells the tale of an abduction aboard the Titanic.
