Meet Elena

Greetings everyone!

My name is Elena and I am half Thai-Irish. I am a second, going into third year BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science student. Solent University is a place I call home and I thoroughly enjoy the challenging, as well as the stimulating aspects that my course has to offer.

I love doing practical sessions in the biomedical laboratories, and this enables me to gain confidence in a variety of techniques which can help me further my scientific career path. I am still figuring out what I want to do after university, but for now I know I am on the right path.

I am vice-president of Team Solent Climbing Society and an enthusiastic member of the Solent equestrian (horse riding) society.
