ApprenticeshipOperations Manager Apprenticeship

Starting in: 2025

Course overview

If you need to be able to deliver operational plans, lead teams, manage change and resources and achieve operational or departmental objectives as part of your organisation’s strategy, this apprenticeship is for you.

This course is delivered online, meaning there's a high degree of flexibility for apprentices to study alongside their work, and for employers to suit the needs of their business. You'll take part in regular workshops with your fellow students and you'll also receive dedicated 1-2-1 time with your tutor.

Operations managers perform leadership and management duties with teams and senior managers to ensure that teams fulfil their roles and meet organisational goals. They are essential to all business models that have an operational area or department with a workforce to lead, manage, and support.

This apprenticeship will develop managers who are responsible for managing individuals or a team to be able to offer direction, instructions, and guidance to achieve set goals.

At the end of this programme, you will be able to provide clear and inclusive leadership and direction within their area of responsibility, typically involving setting, managing, and monitoring the achievement of core objectives aligned with the organisation’s overall strategic goals.
