This project has been highly commended for the Anna Valley Project Prize
With the emergence of virtual and hybrid events and the current necessity to be socially distant and avoid unnecessary risk to camera operators in the field, Joe’s project over all the other nominations ended up extremely relevant to current industry trends. I was particularly impressed that not only was his aim to produce a low cost, easy to use system met but also, like the best low cost solutions, he was able to identify where and why his solution lacked the finesse of other solutions and was able to explain why his target market needs were met by his product over higher end ones. There is always a market for high end full features solutions, but there is also always a need for low cost, less highly featured solutions. Joe has created something that matches that market need perfectly.
