Biomechanics laboratory

Study the science of the body's movement in our purpose-built biomechanics laboratory.

About the biomechanics laboratory

Our purpose-built biomechanics laboratory boasts a range of specialised equipment, including a state-of-the-art Vicon 3D motion capture system that allows athletes' movements to be recorded and analysed. This data can be used in conjunction with force data captured from three embedded force plates and our portable EMG system.
