About the helicopter underwater escape trainer
The helicopter underwater escape trainer (HUET) is located at Andark Diving and Watersports, close to the Warsash campus. The unit is situated within the pool facility and facilitates a side immersion and escape into the pool including full capsize.Â
Fitted with a mixture of both lap belts and four-point harnesses on its seven seats, the compact unit allows the full range of different escape disciplines required during the HUET training. In addition to the main HUET itself there is a front section that can be added if required to simulate a cockpit arrangement for special training requirements.
