Black History Month - Colourism Exhibition

This year’s theme for Black History Month is “Reclaiming Narratives,” and marks a significant shift towards recognising and correcting the narratives of Black history and culture.

Solent is delighted to be exhibiting throughout the month of October in collaboration with Black History Month South, their latest art exhibition ‘Colourism’. This exhibition aims to explore Colourism/Shadism, which has had a more profound impact on life and culture than many presume and hopes to stimulate further discussion to create a greater understanding.
