Our guest speaker is Dr Dhaarsan Rajaratnam, DHL Supply Chain, who will be giving a talk on ‘Smart
Resource Management: Digitalising Resource Management Functions’.

Dhaarsan is a highly experienced engineering and technology professional with a diverse background in the supply chain industry. Currently, he serves as a manager in operations excellence at DHL Supply Chain, where he drives data and AI driven digital transformation initiatives. Dhaarsan holds a BSc in Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka; an MSc in Enterprise Systems and Data Warehousing from the University of Greenwich, and an EngD in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Hertfordshire. He has 15 years of industry experience and has worked in a variety of roles and capacities. He is chartered with many professional bodies including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), The Chartered Institute for IT, and the Operational Research Society. He also has paper publications in international journals, and he has presented his research at international conferences.
