Re:So @ SOOK workshop - Introduction to music production

Solent's Re:So (The Solent Retail Initiative) will be taking over the SOOK pop-up shop in Southampton's Westquay Shopping Centre from Thursday 26 to Monday 30 October 2023. As well as selling designed and curated products, students and graduates will be offering a programme of free workshops in the store ranging from Fashion to Music to Creative Writing... and more! Booking is free, but spaces for each workshop are limited so be quick.

 

About the workshop

If you are a musician, singer, instrumentalist, or just someone who wants to start recording your own songs, this workshop will help you. Here you can learn some tips to start producing your own songs, from composition, to arrangement, mixing or the final master. You can ask any questions about musical production, and we will surely be able to help you.

 

What will participants do/gain?

People who attend the workshop will be able to understand how to begin a musical production. They will explore some of the key aspects that must be taken into account when facing the recording of a song.
