What's happening?

Morning: Workshops (10am - 1pm)

The day kicks off with branding and portfolio workshops designed to help our final-year Media Production students refine their professional identity, strengthen their portfolios, and prepare for industry expectations. Staff and industry mentors will provide valuable feedback, helping students present themselves confidently to potential employers.

Midday: Networking Lunch – Meet Your Future Employees (1pm - 2pm)

This free networking lunch is the highlight of the event for alumni and industry professionals. Enjoy great food while meeting ambitious, job-ready students who could become your next interns, employees, or collaborators. This is a rare opportunity to engage with fresh talent before they enter the job market, understand their skills and ambitions, and explore how they could fit into your organisation or projects.

Please note: the networking lunch is only open to invitees and final year Media Production students.

Afternoon: Alumni Panel (2pm - 4pm)

Following the networking lunch, our alumni speaker panel will offer students first-hand career insights from successful Solent graduates working in the media industries. Alumni will share their career journeys, industry experiences, and tips on breaking into the creative sector.
