Join us at the Solent Learning, Teaching, and Research (SLTR) Conference in The Spark at our East Park Terrace campus for a day of practice-sharing, discussions, and inspiration centred around 'Higher Education for Everyone - good practices in inclusivity in learning, teaching, and research'.

As champions of the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 - Quality Education, we're gathering educators, researchers, and students from across our community to share transformative practices that make higher education accessible to all.

CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Poster presentations
Displays of work by members of the University's research and education community with a focus on the critical role education plays in building a more equitable, just, and sustainable world.

Impactful workshops
Participate in thought-provoking discussions alongside those addressing pressing challenges and opportunities within SDG 4.

Networking opportunities
Connect with like-minded individuals, forge meaningful partnerships, and partake in a community passionate about shaping the future of education.

Keynote speaker
Virna Rossi will be joining us for a conversation exploring 'Cross-pollination for enhanced inclusivity - what does it look like and why does it matter?'

People attending a research conference at SolentQuality education lies at the heart of inclusive education and sustainable development. At the SLTR Conference, we will explore how Solent is building a learning, teaching, and research community that is driven by these values and works to be a part of building the learners, teachers, and researchers of tomorrow.

PRESENTATION AND POSTER SUBMISSIONS

We're interested to hear how your practices or research have made, or will make, a difference to the students or wider research community at Solent University. We offer two routes for presenting: a poster presentation that will be part of the exhibition, available throughout the day; or a 15-minute full presentation with sessions taking place both morning and afternoon.
