Solent's Community Innovation Programme (CIP) gives students from BA (Hons) Sport Coaching and Sport Development the opportunity to make a real impact in the local community.

Students are tasked with developing a project that uses coaching, sport or physical activity to address social needs. Areas of activity include physical education, school sport, crime, disability, ageing populations and women’s participation

Community Innovation Symposium

Projects are presented at the annual Coaching Innovation Symposium. This is a chance for project teams to receive feedback and network.
