Biography
Dr Khan is a seasoned senior lecturer in accounting and finance at Solent University. Dr Khan brings with him over 13 years' experience in academia, research, and administration. He holds a PhD in Corporate Governance & Finance, an MS in Management Sciences (thesis in Finance), an MBA with majors in Finance, a BS in Information Technology (Hons-4 years), and a BA in Economics.
Prior to joining Solent, Dr Khan worked as an online lecturer at the University of Lincoln, and as a senior corporate trainer at Mericler Inc. (Canada) in Istanbul, Turkey. He also served as an assistant professor and cluster head - accounting and finance at Bahria University, Islamabad, Pakistan, for five years between 2012 and 2017, and as director of academics at the BRAINS postgraduate Institute (a portfolio comprising a university, college, software house, and training institute), Peshawar, Pakistan, between 2010-2012.
Dr Khan has an impressive publication record, with 12 research manuscripts published in high-ranked internationally reputed journals. He is also currently working on several other research projects, which are in various stages of publication in esteemed journals. He is passionate about sharing and knowing contemporary issues in research for knowledge creation. He has presented his research work at seven international conferences in various countries, including the USA, Turkey, China, and Portugal.

As a senior corporate trainer, Dr Khan has had the privilege of training managers from various companies in the accounting and finance field. Additionally, he has served as a financial risk consultant to a reputed firm, providing expertise in managing financial risk and ensuring sound financial decision-making.
