Alexandros Dimitriadis

Biography

After studying an undergraduate degree in maritime administration from the University of Piraeus, Greece, Alexandros pursued his studies in Lyon, France, where he obtained a second undergraduate degree, a masters and a doctorate in finance. Joining Solent allowed him to combine two disciplines that fascinate him as well as to teach more applied subjects.

Further information

Corporate social responsibility, socially responsible investing, rating agencies, small/mid-caps.

Alexandros believes that business ethics cannot be limited to catchy mantra and well-phrased intentions. Even though quantifying notions such as environmental, social and governance performance is hard, approximate and subjective, it's still a good place to start, no matter how big the company or how complex its operations.
