Biography
Dr Lin Bailey is a social psychologist and lecturer in psychology. She specialises in qualitative methodologies. Her research interests include social locations, social inequalities, contemporary consumption and identity within a critical social psychological approach.
Lin completed her PhD at the University of Bath in 2012. Her thesis explored contemporary classed femininities within young people's drinking cultures. Her previous post was at Sheffield Hallam University, 2118-2023; and before this, Solent University from 2012-2018.
She has published in peer reviewed journals and books and has presented at national and international conferences. She is also a peer reviewer for several journals.
