Rob’s career in health and fitness spans 20 years as a practitioner and educator. His expertise lies in clinical exercise programming and rehabilitation including cardiac, cancer and respiratory disease. His work as an industry leading educator in the field involves the design and development of specialist courses in clinical exercise rehabilitation and as a consultant to training providers across the United Kingdom. Rob has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from Liverpool John Moores University, which he graduated from in 2005.
As part of the BSc (Hons) Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science course Rob has used his many links with clinicians and health experts to build Solent Exercise Referral, a unique learning opportunity for students to work with real patients referred from hospitals and medical organisations such as the Parkinson’s Association and MacMillan.
Rob has established himself as a trusted exercise professional who works closely with medical professionals and consultants to bring cutting edge knowledge and experience to his students whilst providing an invaluable service to clinicians and patients.
Rob is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation and Exercise Referral.
