Biography
Tim teaches on the design led elements of the Architectural Technology, Interior Design and Foundation courses at Solent.
Tim lives and breathes architecture and in 2018 made the leap to setup up his own practice. SCRACE ARCHITECTS – Scrace Architects is building a reputation as a practice with ambition and artistic and architectural vision. Working collaboratively, the practice aims to ensure that each of their projects stands out and offers something special. The emphasis of the studio is on communication, collaboration, and craft.
As an artist and creative practitioner Tim enjoys documenting spaces and engaging with the environment. Through his work he looks to challenge the norm by abstracting the world around him, painting to see and shape space differently. This is a philosophy that he is now pursuing in practice. Tim believes in the power of creativity. In his new role as Creative Director at the Chamber of Commerce in Salisbury Tim is keen to promote the work and purpose of cultural and creative businesses in the city and across the region.

Tim has enjoyed a broad career that helps him adapt quickly to situations. Working for several award winning local and international practices his experience ranges in scale from domestic extensions and one-off houses to listed buildings, rural estates, churches, schools, social housing, offices, and strategic masterplans.
