So you can see behind me we've got the annual Solent University maritime conference going on. This is a really good annual event that takes place involving speakers from all over the world covering a really wide range of topics.

Monday we had different speakers as well as Stopford which is the author of many of the books we read, so that was really interesting.

Over here you have all a lot of the employers in one place and it's very easy to go around and find out what they do and what jobs are available. A lot of people make their connections, make their networks here at the careers fair and then go on to have really long fulfilling careers with those contacts they meet right here.

You get to meet people from the the business and see how they work what they do and it's been very good; very enlightening.

One year ago we were here in the same place and we had the chance to recruit and that's why it's very important and I hope next year the same will happen so that after today we will end up hiring someone.
