Solent University is thrilled to announce a collaboration with retailer size?, joining their syllabus programme to provide students across fashion courses, with the opportunity to work directly with industry on a range of different live briefs.
Size? is a leading streetwear brand and retailer that represents a community connected by fashion, music, sport and art. They have over 30 stores across Europe and Canada and supply customers with the finest brands in footwear, apparel, and accessories. Taking part in the size? syllabus will give students a unique opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge at one the world’s leading streetwear retailers.
The Size? syllabus programme sets out to identify, nurture and offer a platform to creative talent at an early stage to help it flourish by providing students with unmissable work experience through real life briefs. The students at Solent will gain industry level insight, support and interactions with the size? team, the chance to make their ideas a reality, briefs from some of the world's biggest streetwear brands and career/placement opportunities.
Jo Weedon, Lecturer in Fashion Management, said of the partnership "We're really excited to be starting this collaboration with size?, it will provide our students with real world experience and the chance to discuss their ideas with industry experts. size?'s brand identity and ethos really appeals to our students and we are looking forward to launching the first live briefs next semester."
