Solent Professor to judge international graphic design competition

Solent University is thrilled to announce that Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries, Architecture and Engineering, Professor Peter Lloyd, has been invited to be a member of the international jury for final selection of works for the 6th Shanghai Biennial of Asia Graphic Design 2022 competition.

Since 2011, the Shanghai Biennial of Asia Graphic Design has been successfully held on five occasions, and this year will be held in March 2022.

Professor Lloyd was invited to judge on the panel due to his professional reputation and academic achievements in the field of graphic design. He said of the invitation; 'I am very honoured to be invited to sit on the committee and judging panel for the 6th Biennial Asian Graphic Design Committee. This prestigious event allows me to connect with art and design colleagues from across the USA, Japan and China.

This competition has also been incorporated into the Solent curriculum and will allow students the opportunity to compete, network and exhibit at an international level. I am proud and privileged to be involved in a project that so clearly showcases Solent's engagement with internationalisation, real-world learning and its ongoing commitment to developing exciting and innovative curriculum design."
