Registration and the call for contributions are now open for the sixth Community Psychology Festival, which will be jointly hosted by Solent University, and the British Psychological Society from 21 - 22 October.
Community psychology highlights the effects of systemic inequality on mental health and promotes social change and collective wellbeing. The festival brings together psychologists, communities, and voluntary organisations to showcase diverse initiatives that fit with this year’s theme: Communities and the pursuit of liberation: Creativity, culture and connection. 
This friendly and accessible educational alternative to an academic conference, with public participation at its heart, is being hosted by Solent’s Wellbeing and Applied Research in Psychology group (WARP) and the British Psychological Society’s Community Psychology Section, this year.
Contributions from related disciplines and opportunities to collaborate with people from a wide variety of backgrounds on any of the strands below, are welcomed:
