Our performance sport programme supports talented athletes through university.

The programme is moulded around your sporting talent and academic potential, with an expert team on hand to help you balance your university career with competing on the national or international stage.

Facilities

Providing our students with excellent sporting facilities is a key priority. State-of-the-art football venues, teaching gyms, sport science labs and indoor pitches are just a few of the resources you can take advantage of.

Partnerships

We work with a number of local, regional and international partners to enhance the University sport experience. We work closely with organisations such as Hampshire FA, Southampton FC, England Rugby and Basketball England.

Solent's 30-plus teams and clubs compete in a variety of sports, in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and tournaments, as well as local, national and international competitions.
