Team Solent Sub Aqua

Solent Sub Aqua is one of the largest and most active sport clubs at Solent averaging just under 100 members. It has a very experienced instructor team and a comprehensive level of dive kit that enables the club to train large numbers of students to dive each year.

Sponsored by Andark Diving and Watersports, the club also benefits from the use of the dedicated diver training pool and open water training lake at Andark.

The club has a an active diving programme that includes sessions both in the UK and abroad suitable for people of all levels. No matter if you are a complete beginner or an experienced diver, we have something for you at Solent Sub-Aqua.

Recent successes

Sub-Aqua is the longest running club at Solent - 2019 is our 30th year!
Awarded Club of the Year 2019 at the Solent University Sports Awards
Awarded Club of the Year 2016 at the Solent University Sports Awards.
Certifies the highest number of sport divers amongst university clubs in the UK.
Eleven students went on to instructor grades in 2016.
Raised £3,000 for the Hampshire and IOW Air Ambulance in 2016.

Membership includes third party insurance, pool sessions, use of full club equipment and training.
