Biography
Becki gained a degree in sports coaching from Solent University and shortly went on to achieve an MA Sports Development. Alongside studying, she obtained a wide variety of coaching qualifications to support her roles in coaching children in both grassroots and performance sport.
Becki started working in the sport development sector after graduating, with a focus on school sport, coaching children, and workforce development. During her time working in the sports development sector, she worked with NGBs, schools, colleges, charities and sport organisations. In combination with her sports development work, she taught part-time as an associate lecturer, achieved a postgraduate certificate in teaching and learning, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In 2017, Becki joined Solent University as a full-time lecturer within the sport, education and development strands. She is currently working on research around primary PE and sport and is currently undertaking a Doctorate in Education at the University of Winchester.Â

Becki has over 10 years' coaching experience in a wide variety of settings and sports. She has worked as a community coach, performance coach, sports development officer, facility manager, and workforce development officer.
