New residents are able to move into their new homes from 12 September between 9am and 8pm. If you are concerned about any aspect of your moving in day, please don't hesitate to contact the accommodation team by email or over the phone on 023 8201 5040.
Don't forget to complete the online accommodation induction before arriving - it's designed to give you all the essential information you need before you move into your new home.
Residences handbook
Download the residences handbook to find all the information you'll need for living in student residences, including key contact information, what to do in an emergency, and what you can find in your room/kitchen.
Car parking
Car parking at the student residences is very limited and becomes congested very easily. To assist with traffic congestion, students who are bringing cars for the year will be unable to park their cars in the residence parking until the start of their car parking contract. Please check your car parking offer for this date.
Those students bringing a car for the day are asked to unload their possessions and move their car to one of the local car parks as soon as possible.
Staff will be on hand to help with directions and will be handing out city maps.
What to bring
Students moving away from their family homes for the first time may find that they don't already own everything they need to live independently.
This short guide highlights some of the common items that you will most likely want to bring with you.
