Three fully functioning high definition multi-camera studios, complete with broadcast standard equipment.
About the television studios
Studio A
With 11m x 7m of studio space including a four-camera set-up, full lighting rig and cyclorama rails with white, black and green curtains, Studio A is a great space to create unique productions. The gallery is equipped with a 2 M/E vision mixer, Allen & Heath sound desk, Panasonic camera control units, Apple Mac computers complete with Adobe Creative suite and Blackmagic Media Express, talkback communication systems and prompting software, to meet all of your programmes needs.
Studio C
At 16m x 14m and with seating for an audience of up to 100, Studio Solent is one of the largest HD facilities in the south of England. It is capable of running 10 cameras on pedestals, jibs, or as wireless handhelds within the studio, with additional links to other spaces and rooms. The studio also houses our virtual production stage.
The studio floor has plenty of space to add staging, lighting, truss, and a PA system to create the best productions possible. The gallery is fully stocked with top quality broadcast equipment, including extras such as Skype and web streaming functionalities.
Additional facilities include green rooms, smoke and haze machines, full PA system, multi-track audio recording, an assortment of microphones, and an advanced lighting rig allowing for endless capabilities to facilitate a range of ideas.
Studio D
Studio D is an 11m x 8m space fitted with a state-of-the-art gallery and an immersive green screen area, allowing you to digitally transform your surroundings and place your characters into new environments. Additionally there are two Mo-Sys StarTracker systems that enable the cameras to move within the virtual Unreal environments. The 4K capable studio itself houses four cameras including a jib, all of which are supported by camera control units. The dedicated control room is equipped with a multitude of high spec equipment including a Blackmagic Atem vision mixer, large format display multiviewers, mac playout and recording, an Allen & Heath sound desk, talkback communication system and prompting software. The studio has video, audio and comms links to the newsroom and the studio C and A.

- LiveU roaming Field Unit and Skype play-in and web streaming capability.
