Your application
All UK students applying for undergraduate courses must apply via UCAS. The University accepts online direct applications from overseas applicants via our agents.
Once you have submitted your application, the admissions and enrolment team will review it.
If you're affected by a learning difficulty, medical condition or any other disability, you will be emailed details about informing us of any support you require while studying. More information can be found on our disability support page. You may also be eligible for a contextual offer.
We'll also assess your fee status criteria to find out if you need to pay home or international fees. Forms and other information can be found on our fee status criteria page.
Some courses may require a DBS (formerly CRB) check. For more information, see GOV.UK.
After you apply
After you've submitted your application, the University will consider the information provided and whether a place on your chosen course can be offered. Depending on the course you're applying for, you may be asked to attend an additional selection event, or submit an electronic portfolio.
There are two types of offer you will receive.
Conditional: The offer is subject to you completing and passing various exams or providing proof of your qualifications.
Unconditional: You've already achieved, and provided evidence of, the necessary qualifications to meet our entry requirements. Visit our unconditional offers page to learn more.
If you applied through UCAS you'll be advised of your offer via email. Your offer will also be visible through UCAS Track.
If you have applied via a direct online application, you will be emailed confirmation of your offer.
We may also invite you to attend an open day or applicant visit day to learn more about the course you've chosen.
Making your decision
UCAS applicants
Once you've received all decisions back from the institutions you have applied to, you need to choose your firm and insurance choices. UCAS provides information on your deadline date, by which you must make your choices. This should also be made clear to you on UCAS Track.
Direct applicants
You will need to complete and return an acknowledgement form by email to confirm your acceptance.
