Virna Rossi

Headshot of Virna Rossi

A passionate teacher since 1999, Virna has worked in all educational sectors and has been a teacher educator since 2009. Her research is focused around the challenges of implementing more inclusive learning design and the use of threshold concepts in learning design. Virna is an Associate Professor, an AdvanceHE Senior Fellow (SFHEA), on the SEDA Roll of Honour, and a National Teaching Fellow. As an educator, she works to “support teachers blossom in their practice”. Her book (by Routledge) is designed to help teachers put their ‘inclusivity goggles’ on, to scrutinise and enhance their professional practice so that each and every one of the students under their care has the best chance to succeed.
