Arduino programming
Date: 24 June
Time: 12.30-2.30pm
Location: Electronics lab (JM409) - John Everett Millais Building
In this introductory lesson, you'll learn the basics of the Arduino platform and get an overview of the Arduino hardware and software. Arduino is an open-source platform that allows you to create interactive projects with sensors and actuators. You'll learn how to write your first programs (sketches) and upload them to the Arduino microcontroller.
Hands-on exercises will demonstrate how you can use this to read sensor data and display results as well as building circuits interfacing with the Arduino. No prior knowledge of programming or electronics is required.
This session is designed for beginners and provides an easy introduction to the fascinating world of physical computing with Arduino.
