Our academic community
In anticipation of this Strategy and as part of its implementation, the University has created a Department and School structure:
- Department of Art and Music
- Department of Business and Law (including Solent Business School and Solent Law School)
- Department of Film and Media
- Department of Science and Engineering
- Department of Social Sciences and Nursing
- Department of Sport and Health
- Warsash Maritime School
Our academic quality and standards will be of the highest class.
These academic units are at the heart of the University for it is within them and through them the University teaches, conducts research and engages with the community. We will enable each Faculty and School to reach its full potential and ensure they receive the full support they need to grow.
As part of this Strategy, we will identify and deliver their requirements in relation to people, learning and teaching, estates, ICT, brand and marketing, and systems and processes. Our academic quality and standards will be of the highest class.
