Biography

After completing his statistics degree at City of London Polytechnic, Rhodri studied at the University of Southampton for a MSc in social statistics followed by a PhD in the field of historical record linkage, community reconstruction using source material and the use of this information to examine internal migration during the nineteenth century in Britain.

After completing his PhD he moved to Solent University, where he has taught quantitative research methods on a range of social science courses for the past 20 years. Rhodri has a pedagogic interest in the views of students on assessment and feedback. He is currently the admissions tutor for the psychology and criminology courses and also the chair of the Psychology Ethics Committee.
