Take your skills to the next level with our industry-standard performing arts and music facilities.
Our performing arts spaces include versatile rehearsal rooms and a 64-seat flexi-form performance space, perfect for live shows. You'll also have access to HD cameras, radio suites, and multi-camera television studios to enhance your learning experience.
Our cutting-edge music facilities feature professional digital recording studios, audio production suites, and fully equipped rehearsal rooms with high-quality instruments. You'll work with advanced IT software suites to create, edit, and manage websites, music, magazines, podcasts, and videos.
Additionally, you'll have the chance to gain hands-on experience using Solent’s outside broadcasting equipment at live events, preparing you for real-world industry opportunities.
The studio contains state-of-the-art digital software and hardware for the creation of electronic dance music, allowing students to be creative and gain practical knowledge of the numerous pieces of hardware devices.
The Library building is open for Solent students and staff to access computers and study spaces, and for browsing the shelves and borrowing items.
Rehearsal rooms for musicians to work on their material for gigs and assessments.
All recording studios and workstations run industry-leading software, complemented by a live rooms with drum kit, guitar amp and keyboard.
Solent's £33m Spark building combines interactive teaching spaces with lecture theatres and an atrium with social spaces. Central to The Spark building is the futuristic Pod, which has a full-size lecture theatre and open-topped breakout space.
